Long-time Ocean Springs Branch Manager, David Thompson, Announces Retirement
David Thompson, Ocean Springs Branch Manager of 21 Years, Retires.
The Peoples Bank says farewell to one of our valued employees, David Thompson. David is retiring after 21 years of service at The Peoples Bank, and more than 52 years in the banking industry.
David’s extensive banking career began in New Orleans and Shreveport, Louisiana, where he gained experience in backroom operations, branch operations, and lending before moving back to the Mississippi Gulf Coast. David joined The Peoples Bank in 2001 as Branch Manager at our Gautier Branch. For the past several years, he has been Branch Manager at our Ocean Springs Branch. In addition to working with his customers and staff, David is committed to service throughout the Gulf Coast. He has provided leadership to the Gautier Rotary Club, the Southeast Mississippi Home Builders Association, the Ocean Springs Rotary Club and Saint Pierre’s Episcopal Church. David is active in the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce, serving on The Board of Directors and as Treasurer.
