Kathy Crabtree Celebrates 30 Years of Working at The Peoples Bank

Kathy Crabtree has a major milestone to celebrate: 30 years with The Peoples Bank! Kathy came to us from Macon, Mississippi, and began work in December 1993 as a Trust Balancing Clerk. However, in 1994, she transferred to the Corporate Trust Division of The Peoples Bank’s Asset Management & Trust Services, where she’s been serving our customers ever since. Over the years, Kathy has worked her way up the ranks within the division. First, she was promoted to Corporate Trust Officer in 2008, then to Vice President in 2021. It’s all a part of her storied history in banking, comprised of 45 incredible years in the industry.

“It’s hard to believe that I have been at The Peoples Bank for 30 years!” said Kathy. “I would say the most rewarding part of my job is that I love getting to work with the variety of different tasks and challenges each day brings. It also helps that I work in an area that interests me and inspires me to learn, as well as a group of supportive colleagues who are more like family.”

During her time with The Peoples Bank, the most memorable moment of Kathy’s career was her promotion to Vice President, which was a flattering surprise to her!
