Karen Arguelles Celebrates 30 Years with The Peoples Bank
Congratulations to Karen Arguelles for This Historic Achievement
Karen Arguelles – originally from Wiggins, Mississippi – graduated from Stone High School and received an associate degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. From there, she pursued further in higher education, graduating from both the University of Mississippi School of Banking and the Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking. Alongside her academic pursuits, Karen is also a graduate of the Gulf Coast Leadership Program affiliated with the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce.
Karen’s banking career began at The Peoples Bank 30 years ago, in August of 1993, working as a bookkeeper. Since then, she has worked throughout several departments and has served in various leadership roles before being promoted to her current position as a Vice-President of Lending three-and-a-half years ago.
Karen has had many memorable moments throughout her 30-year career with The Peoples Bank. She has been able to meet many people from all walks of life in the community that she serves. Karen recognizes that banking revolves around building relationships with customers, a mantra that she continues to live by daily. Her specialty is in lending and her passion lies in helping her community grow. Karen believes in providing convenience and accessibility to her customers while taking care of their financial needs.
