THE PEOPLES BANK NAMES EIGHT COMMUNITY LEADERS
TO ADVISORY BOARD

BILOXI, MS (February 24, 2012)—Eight Gulf Coast community leaders have been named to the advisory board of The Peoples Bank, announced Chevis C. Swetman, chairman and CEO of the bank.

The new advisory board members include: John Shinn of Biloxi, owner of PPS Plus Software; Don B. O’Neal of Saucier, owner of R&D Pharmacy; Mildred Page of Biloxi; Mary Eaves of Biloxi, owner of Biloxi Pawn Shop; Dovie Mayes of Bay St. Louis; JB Wright of D’Iberville, owner of Wright Tree Service; Mark Cruthirds of Long Beach, owner of Brooklyn’s Pizza; and Ann Magruder of Ocean Springs, an executive with Rex Distributing Company.

“Business leaders like these provide our bank with eyes and ears to our larger community,” said Swetman, “and they help us provide more responsive service to our entire customer base.”

The new advisory board members will serve three-year terms through 2015.
